Our History
Chrysos Georgallas Ltd was established in 2001 in Athienou, a traditional village in Larnaca and was soon relocated in Limassol, where until today we produce and sell traditional Cypriot dairy products locally and abroad.
The Cypriot cuisine consists of many flavors, spices and aromas, and it is quite popular in a lot of countries. The recipes that we decided to use for our products are based on these traditional flavors and they carry on as a legacy in our family, from generation to generation, that is why we insist on maintaining the same authentic flavors that we were introduced to by our ancestors. The most famous Cypriot product is the halloumi, a white cheese that can be fried, grilled, sliced in a salad or grated for pasta topping. It can also be combined with some meats and fruits such as watermelon and lountza.
The traditional halloumi cheese ” CHRYSOS “ with its delightful taste, has become vital in every home. Besides halloumi, we also produce other traditional cheeses like anari, cheese for flaounes and a wide variety of pure and delicious products.
